Hang Seng to open Foshan branches
Hang Seng Bank received permission from the China Banking Regulatory Commission to open its first cross-city sub-branch.
Hang Seng China's Foshan sub-branch is in the first batch of cross-city sub-branches approved by CBRC Guangdong under the Supplement VI to the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement, which represents a major milestone in closer economic cooperation between mainland China and Hong Kong.
The Foshan sub-branch, set to open shortly, is located at Nanhai Avenue, Guicheng, Nanhai District, Foshan City.

Hang Seng China has also submitted an application for the establishment of a
Zhongshan cross-city sub-branch to CBRC Guangdong and will continue exploring opportunities for setting up cross-city sub-branches in other cities in Guangdong.
The Foshan sub-branch will be Hang Seng China's 37th outlet. It has branches in 12 cities on the Mainland, including 16 in Guangdong province.
